Yes it will!

I know several people who upgraded their video card to a GTX 660 and the 660ti and it works just fine. The only problem they ran into is the card barely fits into the 8500 case.

Dell PSUs are usually underrated in the specs. The Dell OEM 460 Watt PSU will easily support most single video cards which call for a minimum 500 watt PSU.

You do need to check if the video card needs two (2) PSU connectors. Already gave the 8500 to my client and I don't remember if the Dell 8500 PSI has two or just one. May need a Molex to 6-pin adapter.

Edit: Just checked another thread - it does have two GPU connectors but best to double check.

Deal has expired so unsure if you ended up buying it. However there appears to be a 7770 power requirements issue for this model. Stock PSU not supplying adequate power. Check the Dell forums. I am still not clear if this was resolved.

Did have one in the 35% outlet deal from 2 days back but ended up backing out due to this issue.

fyi my dell xps 8500 came with the gtx660 and it works fine no over heating problems. so u should be able to add an aftermarket gtx660 to ur rig with any major issues. (mine has the 460watt power supply)
