Be sure to shop your local warehouses and Targets. My local Target had the 1500 3-packs for about $15 on sale. Costco sold the 3-pack but I forget how much.

3 pack of the 1500 for $15 at target? No way, those run at least $15 each anywhere. At Costco they are $40ish. Must have been a price mistake.

Last time at Costo (about 2 weeks ago) the 1500's were about $30 for a 3pak ( all different sizes) |

Make sure your Heater can handle the limited flow in air created by less pourous filters. Some filters(such as what I own) will have to work harder when pushing air through tighter filters which will increase the wear and tear on the Heater for not much difference in air quality.
Example: Read the first review on the Amazon Page. Also, it's probably better to invest in a very good vacuum like a Dyson and vacuum your carpets once a week if you have no pets, and twice a week if you do. This will cut down on quite a bit of dust in and of itself, oh and don't be a packrat and keep tons of papers and boxes around the house. Last edited by MrBlackFriday; 03-21-2013 at 02:10 PM.. By the time I buy all four sizes I need, I'll be broke. Not to mention, the sizes I need are a fair bit more expensive than Target or Lowes. Don't forget the $6 off 3 or $12 off 4 'individual' purchase deal at the Filtrete site. (Sorry, a multi pak counts as ONE unit of purchase).
