NEW Saveology gift cards: Exxon, Sears, Staples and Darden!

Staples does NOT work for me. I was so excited when I saw this.

Although I've gotten my past deals from Saveology, these seems to be coming too fast and in too high of multiples to make sense. In the past they seemed to be playing a loss leader game and limited their "loss" to 1 card per person. They even tried to go out of their way by making most of the useful deals only for new users. Now these deals are 3x, every day, and good for existing accounts also. Either they have a new scheme to cheat us, their rich uncle died and left them a lot of free money to give away, or they are planning to declare bankruptcy soon. I can't think of other explanations, but I'm open to ideas. If you have one, please share.

(And I'm assuming that taking a lot of charge backs is not a useful option for them. Assuming that they plan to remain in business, taking change backs will screw up their deal with the credit cards and could even lead their processor to drop them. And I can assure you that they will be getting Amex charge backs from me if I don't get my cards. I can bet that most SDers feel the same. Ironically, by allowing 3x they are helping to ensure that the $$ amounts are high enough to force people to make the charge back call. Back in the days of their $1 PJ cards, people might just let $1 slide. However, people are less likely to let $30 slide IMHO.)

GAS gift Cards are sold out

Mobile gas cards sold out. Staples still avail I think but not worth the time to call and put up with their high pressure sale tactics for some coupons. There was an option to redeem vouchers online but they disabled it.

I did an iTunes card dal about a month ago. I had to call and listen to a sales pitch to redeem. Just say no thank you and you will be fine. I received the card a week later.

I too am regretting now, I jumped without reading the whole thread. I have bought deals from them earlier and they did send me the card.

got the sears. not too hard to convert them to cash.

Whats to regret. Some people have good luck and others have bad luck. You and I have had success in the past getting our subway and exxon cards..others have not. Don't sweat it.

You can easily get away from calling in to redeem any vouchers and listen to sales tactics like these bastards do.

That's BS though if they just send a piece of paper saying you need to call. It says "Please allow 7-10 Business Days for delivery" as if they're sending the cards immediately without doing anything else. It won't surprise me though. I guess they had to come up with a new scam to get people to buy.
