You may actually be able to get both. A lot of times, if you pre-submit them, and then put a note saying that the original UPC was sent with tracking number # XXXXXXXX, offer # XX-XXXXXX... or something along those lines... they may accept it. A few centers I've talked to have allowed this in the past for offers I've done, where the store listed multiple rebates and such, but both requiring original UPCs.

Activation is easy too, if you are scared... then fire up a virtual machine for use with these sort of rebates and re-use as needed. You can cancel the ARS (automatic renewal service) from their website easily as well.
