Have prices gone DOWN on ANY firearms in the last decade?

I just received my M1944 carbine from AIM and it is sweeeeeeeeeet. Super merchant with excellent customer service and fast shipping. I also bought a crate of ammo with it and I am extremely pleased. These are awesome rifles to shoot, it ticks my "history geek" boxes, and the ammo is cheap and readily available.

What's not to love?

It means that unless you have an FFL 1 or C&R license, don't bother.

Means you need to find an FFL that has a type 3 (for old guns) licence in your area to ship these to. (there is like 11 types of FFL categories)

Bought this one and a hex one. Did not buy years ago for under 100. Better late than never.

Any adult who isn't a convicted felon can buy this rifle. You just need to have it shipped to an entity licensed to do FFL transfers unless you yourself have a FFL or C&R license.

Jeez. This rifle would make a fine first firearm for a first time gun owner. The last thing these people need is idiotic misinformation like that to discourage them.

WTB, Google "FFL dealer [your area]" and call them. Explain you want to do an "FFL transfer" to purchase a gun from an online dealer and they'll walk you through the process. Expect to pay the FFL dealer about $25 to do the transfer.

Getting a c&r is easy. It was $30 for three years when I had mine A few tears ago. Don't know what the price is now. Google c&r license.

Don't get me wrong, after all the semi-autos are gone, bolt-action "sniper-style" rifles are next, but I haven't read a legitimate proposal offering to ban this.

I never said he couldn't buy one now did I? I merely said not to bother. At that price + shipping + the FFL fee, assuming he doesn't have the required license, which he doesn't because he didn't know what it was in the first place. Taking that into account, it's not that great of a deal since you are probably pushing $170. That's not even close to being slick now is it? So it's not misinformation at all.

C&R license holders are not allowed to purchase firearms with the intent of selling or transferring them so don't bother asking one of them to help you do the transfer to save a few bucks because you will be breaking some laws. You need a FFL type 1 or type 2 to do this transfer. Or get your own type 3 C&R license, you will save money after the second transfer and can have them direct shipped to your home.

I was thinking the same thing except I remember when they was 59.99

I still don't have one oddly.

Now with the ban talk i've got bigger fish to fry.. gonna pick up a couple soon though we still got a while before we run out of stock though.

they made ten's of millions of these things im sure they'll be importing them for quite a while still.
