to the trolls who keep saying there are no games for it. ZombiU, Lego City, Monster Hunter Tri U, are just a few Nintendo exclusives that should provide some fun while you are waiting for first party games. These people are comparing a brand new system with xbox 360 and PS3 both which are in their mature stages with developer support and price advantage. Once their next consoles come out, and they have just as few exclusives as the Wii U did at launch, and people are comparing them at a higher price, and by then nintendo will have a full library of games exclusive to its system. What will these fanboys say? Oh, but my graphics are better!! NOT!!!

Wii U is fun. Eventually the complaints about there being no games and the price being too high will be taken care of. Right now it is still in its early adopter phase.

what's your point? That they were outsold by PS3 and Xbox? Wouldn't that be expected seeing as those systems are fully developed and they run several bundles? That this can be accomplished because of economy of scale? Or are you just incapable of critical thought and can only speak fanboy 'talking points"? See, there's these people called 'early adopters' who are willing to pay a premium for new things that are all the rage. The rest of the people wait until prices come down, the hype dies a little, and there is more value in their purchases. Next xbox is already getting a lot of bad press. When it comes out it too will only appeal to early adopters. It too will have very few exclusive games. It too, after several years, come down in price and have lots of good games and people will buy in droves. The only difference between when Xbox and PS3 come out and the Wii U is that you won't have Nintendo fans going on message boards making fun of their systems. Know why? Because they are confident and secure in their purchase. Nintendo has fun games and the Wii U can now play the latest games at the highest resolution possible unlike the wii. There is no better than 1080p. Plus, by having Nintendo offering direct competition it forces others to raise their games. That's a good thing.

But you and others go ahead and celebrate yet another Halo, or Uncharted. We are happy for you. Why can't you be happy for us with getting another Super Metroid, F-Zero, Smash Bros., Zelda, Donkey Kong, Super Mario Galaxy, Pikmin, Bayonetta?

BTW, the 'inferior' Wii outsold both the Xbox and PS3.

I'll wait until Black Friday. I'm sure price will definitely be lower then.

I'm waiting for this baby to hit 199 which I think will happen by end of summer with the horrendous sales numbers. Nintendo really messed up because they don't have any games worth buying for this thing yet. If sales don't pick up in the next 6 months I could see this going the path of the gamecube.

I see the basic, I see the deluxe, I see one with 32gb, I see a controller. I have 2 kids, does this only come with 1 game pad? What will I need to wait for and buy?

for those saying nintendo screwed up launch schedule: they were counting on rayman being released and not delayed. the game is complete but publisher is waiting for ps3 and 360 versions.

but a bunch sold during holiday season. not as much as wii but more than every other recent console iirc.

some of us have short memories i guess. personally i remember ps3 having 2 years of abysmal sales and sony introducing 5 skus. its doing fine now.
