No one thinks the 39" sharp is worth the extra thirty bucks? It is an aquos.

IMO, the sharp wins hands down. And Dell offers free returns for the first 30-days (from invoice, they pay return shipping and give a full refund)

Picked it up today

Sitting here watching dark knight rises 1080p now

Have external sound bar

Adjusted some settings from CNET forum

Now it looks pretty good

For $300 Toshiba I like!

I'll borrow Dave's format for the settings. These seem to work well for me on the HDMI and Component inputs alike. I used the Avia Guide to Home Theatre DVD. Hope this works for you.

Picture Settings
Contrast 50
Backlight 50
Dynalight On
Brightness 55
Color 32
Tint +6
Sharpness 1

Advanced Picture Settings
Dynamic Contrast: Off
Static Gamma: +2
Color Temp: Medium
Cinema Mode: Film

Noise Reduction
DNR: OFF
MPEG Noise Reduction OFF

Dont know i should bite or not. I have $25 in BB rewards that would take care of the tax. I am in need of a TV badly, I just know when I buy this something better will come.
