The only differences is higher clock speed on the i7 and 4MB cache instead of 3MB. Unless you did benchmarks, you probably won't notice.
If you are only doing web browsing, movies, documents; I would go for the i5. 1080p screen is worth it.
I wanted the i7 as I do programming and want to little extra speed for compiling programs.
I say the samething, my wife would love this FHD 13" than a 720p 13" regardless the i7 or not, but Dell retarded sales won't honor the coupon anymoer after they did yesterday for the i7, it's only $50 more and I don't mind even to keep both. But they refused, They're thinking Dell is still a hotcake, this system can sell for $1059? I thought I'm doing dell a favor by not buying from Asus or Apple, though I was too nice to tell them upfront this reality.
The laptop is gone as soon as released from my cart, somebody must be buying either at full price or with a negotiated deal, there is no coupon qualifies the FHD 13" L322x at this time. I wonder too how much people willing to pay for it, to me the mac air 13" is a better option at today's price of $1000. At $800 I'd still favor Zenbook.
totally missed out on this deal... there's a message on the website saying that the xps 13 is currently not for sale. Does this mean that they're waiting for more production or perhaps releasing a newer xps 13 model?
