Just lost the cities I had been working on. Look at their forums regarding bugs, and see how much they care about actually fixing them.

It'll be $29 soon enough. I was initially interested in the game but I've got no desire to give them money until they have everything fixed.

Does anyone know if buying this physical copy now will allow me to download and play the Mac version when it comes out (similar to how Steam works)?

This is tempting, someone posted the ad on FW a few days ago, the only game I'd be interested in is Dead Space 3, but since I already picked it up on the PS3, probably not.
I'll probably wait until the game is in the $20-$30 range and has been patched quite a bit. The city size is kind of a deal breaker for me, too, although I do like the idea of building a region with friends. I'm Commander Howdy Doody and this is my favorite thread on Slickdeals.

I'm hearing all sorts of bad things with the game. Has that bug where people can go in to anoter player's cities and destroy it/do whatever they want with it been fixed yet? That and the small city size are the only things holding me back...
