I'm in the club who didn't buy due to EA shitty practices. Sadly, I love Sim City. Very disappointed.

I really wanted to play this game and i got people on this bandwagon, but yea my $100 bb reward cert expire in JUN hopefully it drop further so i can get 2 copies and HOTS. until then ima enjoy my starcraft WOL

I only see standar and deluxe on the official website: http://www.simcity.com/en_US/buy Ha, the hate is really strong for this game. I hate the DRM as much as everyone else, but the game does look cool (if you are a fan of sim games). Haven't played it yet, but I really want to. At least they are working to fix some of the gameplay bugs (traffic, etc). |

Too much hate for this game. I bought it at launch, but couldn't play it for the first couple of days due to work. I haven't had any issues with the game. And cheetah speed was working since launch day +4 for me. Overall it is a great game. I don't like the DRM, but the only time I don't have an internet connection is when I don't need one (driving and enjoying the outdoors).

Seems pretty solid, I prob go pick it up tomorrow. I wanted the Deluxe edition but $70 is too much for the game. You guys are way to harsh, yes online DRM sucks for a single player game but that doesn't make it a bad deal.

The game's server issues were minor in comparison to the simulation problems. Don't buy it. They may not even be able to fix these issues as they might be flaws in design.

The DRM thing is bad, but it sounds like they have mostly corrected the issues they had at launch. If you look past that, are the bugs really that bad? It seems like they are trying to fix them... they issued two patches in the last week or so, right? Despite all of the bad press, I still really want this game... I'm a Sim City fan and the screenshots look pretty cool. |

Guess I'm in the minority but I bought day 1 and had fun with the game...sucks the price dropped so early but I guess you can't win everything.
Do your homework and if you still want to try the game out, don't hesitate especially at this price. |

Simcity has not been cracked so stop lying, it was modded to work offline from initially being connected, but the game can't be saved or reloaded without reconnecting with the Simcity servers. Even that bypass has been patched. The argument for DRM is about potential lost sales on both ends, but its purpose has been and always will be to deter thieves. -I wasn't left behind, I just rode a slower bus-
