I have this tv and like it.It's lower end but I have a lot of trouble seeing 3d affects and with this one it's pretty easy on the eyes. There is some issues with darker images as it washes out, but that might be able to be fixed in the settings, though I have not been able to get it perfect as of yet. Finally, my other drother is that the 46" goes on sale not as often but is proportionally priced and I wish that I had gone bigger but since this is my first 3d tv, I didn't expect to like it as much as I do so I kept this "experiment" on the cheap side.

Its from Walmart. I don't expect a nice long lasting TV..pass.
It has nothing to do with WM. Rather, for cheaper, more affordable HDTVs, manufacturers will intentionally make inferior tabs (those electrical tapes that connect the LCD panel to the electric connectors coming from the PCB boards) which will fail right on the dot after the default MFR warranty period expires.
So what's my point? Make sure you buy/get one of those Squaretrade extended policy for these cheap LCDs.
I got this TV from Wal Mart about 4 months ago for 20$ more. It's a spare room TV so not getting a lot of use, but I like it. Good picture quality, we have a Roku hooked up to it so internet isn't much of an issue. I like the 3D but you have to be a good 8 feet away to have the optimal effect, and on only a 42" screen, standing 8 feet away makes the image rather small. Of course I'm used to my 65" Vizio in the living room.
I got this tv at fry's like a week ago and am also very pleased with it. For the price and I very happy with the picture quality. I know it won't compare to my samsung es8000 but for what it's worth, it's pretty good. At first I was very skeptical bc this tv was a 60hz but honestly everything seems good on it...including sports (I watch a lot of soccer and nba). 3D is a perk so don't buy this tv bc of its 3d because it's not going to WOW you like the tv's that are above $1000. 42" is a good size for a small bed room. I'm probably going to return my westinghouse 40" led tv that I bought from costco about 2 weeks ago.
If you're looking for a budget tv that displays good picture, I recommend this tv
