get a $400 dell computer with an i3 or amd trinity apu and add in a $80 video card like the radeon 7770... that is more than enough to play most games at 1080p res

People need to quit bickering about PC vs console. What you pay for graphics is what you're willing to pay for it. Pros and cons for both for lots of reasons besides graphics as well.

I started playing it tonight, and my god, I have never seen a game so reliant on quicktime events. It rewards timing more than it does skill.

I still wouldn't shell out 20 bucks. I'll wait for 15

I see both your points, but if I had to pick a side I would agree with the other guy a bit more. While a $500 PC would technically be superior (specs-wise) to consoles, in all seriousness how many true gamers do you know that actually spent $500 or less on their "gaming" PC? I am more of a PC gamer myself even though I have a PS3, but most gamers I know eventually spend more than $1,000 easily within a span of 5 years just to keep up with their gaming. Many people don't account for all parts of a PC, such as the OS software, mouse and keyboard, monitor, etc. That alone is at least a few hundred dollars. Heck, most gamers will spend at least $100 on the case alone. $500 might get you a low end PC that can do some gaming. But most are going to take their gaming more serious than that and end up spending way more than $1,000.

Tell me about it. I have spend more then 1000 on my pc to bring the full potential on the new games including crysis 3 and graphics are sick. I sold one of my xboxes and my ps3 cause its hard to go back to consoles after owning a gaming rig

L-O-L! This game actually made it to Groupon. WOW! Ahahahahahaha!

Dreadful game. 2 hours into it and couldn't be more disconnected. Not to mention the terrible controls, and QTE every 3 minutes.
