? Never said I disliked FFX's ending. It was my favorite part of the game. It was extremely well done. One of the few times I've ever thought that bitter-sweet was the way to go (this comment doesn't spoil it ) over a stupid-happy-we-are-the-champions ending. It was the REST of the game that I disliked.

Have to see how well they remake it for HD. Otherwise I'm sticking to my backward compatible PS3.

Won't other places do pre-orders later on? Great games and I am looking forward to playing the HD versions but what is the rush? Not coming out until December and I doubt it will sell out, plus there might be some pre-order discounts later on at places like Newegg.

I thought about buying another one of those things--but really, I can pick up a working PS2 for $25-$30 at this point.

I agree with you about the intro to 8. I still love it to this day. I still like to watch it on the big screen and crank up the surround sound. I also have the audio to it as an mp3.

I disliked him. But Tidus was the worst. And obviously it wasn't the fault of the voice actor, because he did a really good job with the narration sections. They wrote him into the script as a walking pile of dung.

It will be out way before December, amazon will meet and beat most competitors, for me amazon is my choice because free shipping to Alaska (new egg refuses) and no sales tax. Every item I've preordered I've gotten cheape than anywhere else so I pre order this 100% carefree knowing amazon is going to be competitive with others to the end. May be 40 tonight and 20 on the ship night. Can only go down from now.


One of my favorite things of ffx was the music. It' was awesome. My favorite is a " a fleeting dream" The emotion was strong and loved it when I heard it (not spoiling) with where or during what. I wanted to buy the cd but last time I looked it was retarded exspensive ( why? ) dunno

The interesting thing is that they've recorded that Liberi Fatali choir intro multiple times, for different soundtracks over the years. All of them sound pretty darn good. "Eyes On Me" from the FF8 ending is probably my favorite song of the entire series--Faye Wong did an amazing job [wikipedia.org]--someone even played it during the Olympics (figure skating, if I recall).

If you liked it that much, you may want to buy the FF8 Orchestral Soundtrack--most of the best songs played by an orchestra. Sample overworld theme orchestral version [youtube.com]

who knows if it's a good deal or value right now. this was just announced. all retailers will have this for presale at the same price. i think both were greatest hits at $20 each. guess it's not bad paying the same price for a remix but they're 10 years old. then again everyone is different...NES Duck Tails came out 24 years ago and don't have a problem buying the remastered version on day 1 for $15 later this summer.

that game is older than me but I remember playing it on the Nintendo sqaure thing pointing the gun at tv.

Nvm wrong game. Duck tails, that's the cartoon I watched as a kid. Now it makes sense, Duck hunt is what I laughed about. My bad
