TireRack is closing out the Michelin X-Ice Xi2 Winter Tires which are tied for #1 rated winter tires by Consumer Reports. They have several sizes in stock. I just purchased a set of 4 for mine which were about $100 cheaper than elsewhere including $54 shipping.

Heh, got lucky and moved to a warmer climate, but this is a great deal for those who have snow.

Probably the best investment you can make for your car in the colder months

Just curious why you hated the blizzaks so much. I've given mine a workout this year and have been nothing but impressed. I only have all seasons to compare to though.

Well efff myself, I took my winter tires off 2 days ago because its been really nice and we lost like feet of snow in the last 2 weeks... was convinced spring was finally here, even saw grass from the snow melt.
I woke up today to this

My summer tires can barely make it through anything, but quite frankly. I dont feel like changing them now. Going to be using my subaru for a few days..

I got a called today from tirerack. They cancelled my order. Said the computer does not update inventory over the weekend. I didn't make a big fuss. I was on the fence before I purchased them. It's there right to not sell me the tire and its my right to not shop there in the future.

Last Friday I ordered 4 set of 185/65R14 General Tire Altimax frm DT Direct. Then this deal came
up. Again Called DT on Monday and requested them to change my order to Michelin X-Ice Xi2 185/65R14 and do price match. Associate just asked for the reason and agreed .
After price match and DT $50 instant discount, my total was $217@ 4 tires. I purchased using DT's CarCareOne credit card so hope to get another $30 on top of $70 Michelin's rebate.
Hopefully my total should be 217 - 30 - 70 = 117. Per tire costs me $29.25..looks like a good deal for a tire of worth $100.
Also by ordering through DT Direct, I avoided clearance 2009 Production stock.
Thanks OP for this nice deal.
