I actually bought it. Understood it's a "MIDI" instrument, but since it comes with ProTools SE, that's kind of like buying the software and getting a keyboard free. So, I guess we'll wait and see. I'd be curious to know the version of ProTools it comes with. And if it's not Windows 7 certified, if we'd be able to get an update?
I got a tracking #, but it looks like they never delivered it to FedEx. Status is:
Shipment information sent to FedEx
I was actually just coming here to check on the same thing.
Same situation here... Initial FedEx tracking said delivery here in pa would be 3/28. Still says initiated. Emailed them, said it would be shipped to fedex today... Still repirts the same (as initiated)
Anybody ever deal with them? I bought the damn sustain pedal from Amazon and got it today, but no keyboard to play it with.
This is a great deal, but yeah, MIDI might be a little misleading because this controller interfaces through USB, not a MIDI connection. If someone had a synth with MIDI inputs, and got this to play that synth, they would be out of luck.
Great deal though. M-Audio are good. I would be careful about the USB port on the back, though, I've seen a couple M-Audio controllers on which the USB port broke apart... just be gentle, I suppose.
Very odd that these don't have a midi output yet they still call it a midi controller. Kind of false advertising...
