Just picked the Zalman NC11 from Newegg/with rebate earlier this month. The product photo looks similiar to the OP model. I have a 15" laptop and in my opinion for using on flat surfaces the Zalman is better than my CoolerMaster X2. However, on my chest/tummy lying in bed, when I press down on the buttons on the pressure pads - they are pretty stiff, it's an older HP/Compaq - the plastic bottom grid (top grid is perforated metal) permitting air circulation on the bottom will flex and contact the fan blades. My X2 is rigid and that does not happen with it - then again, it also doesn't appear to cool quite as well as the NC11 - this deal is for the NC3. Also the NC11 is a fair bit quieter than the X2. Hope that helps someone out.

Mr. Harley: I'm afraid my people haven't. I'm very sorry. I wish it were otherwise.
