Is it true if I have a costco gift card, I can buy stuff there with it even if I don't have a membership?

Depending on your spending habits, the 50 dollars could well be worth it. If you ahve a child, the diapers/formula/snacks/etc are easily saved over the course of a year. The meat there is generally much cheaper than you would find. Sometimes you can find meat cheaper on sale at local grocery stores, but over all I find it cheaper at costco.

The return policy of that store can't be beat. The employees are generally happy to work there, and are paid a decent wage.

You easily save the $50 dollars over the annual sales and discount in cost. Gas alone is always .20 cheaper a gallon than any other place in the city. You should go inside and look around. The Meat and poultry selection is also a lot better. Plus the people working at the store make a decent wage and not the bare minimuim like workers at a Walmart.

One of the problems with this country. Americans not understanding that saving a dollar on an item from another country could be putting people out of work. Id rather pay the extra dollar to see a Made in America sticker on a product. But just my opinion.

Except it wouldn't be an extra dollar, it would be an extra 50

If you have the executive membership and spend not even that much money at Costco each year, the membership pays for itself, and you get a cashback check each year. Well maybe I just spend a lot of money at Costco, but they seriously have just about everything! Smilie

Same here I buy almost everything at Costco. The resale on any item in the store is %12 mark up. Never more and always less. Plus the annual check is always more than the membership. I rarely spend a dime in Walmart and would care less if they never built another one ever again.
