I'd recommend any USB 3.0 card reader. Most (if not all) are already UHS-I compliant. Even if you use it with a USB 2.0 port, you will get increased speeds.
USB 2.0 readers are generally capped at around 20-22MB/s. USB 2.0 is theoretically rated 480mbit/s (or, 60MB/s), but due to overhead, error correction, QoS, etc.. its real-world performance is as high as around 36-38MB/s.
With the Sony 94MB/s card, and the SanDisk Extreme 45MB/s, I was able to get around 36MB/s read and 31MB/s write, with a USB 3.0 card reader and USB 2.0 port.
Can you recommend a specific reader? or give a link to one. Thanks
LOL, as soon as best buy realizes they have an actual good deal, they have to terminate it.
Don't they have a price match policy of some kind? They are supposed to match even online prices from Amazon I think. At $80 probably only stupid tourists or some other fool would buy this card, LOL
