I found the following CNET Review - bad news if you're looking to amplify your HD Antenna signal through a stereo or receiver. I just need the audio coming out of the tv so I'm in for one:
The only other difference between the two is that the EH4003 lacks the optical digital audio output found on the EH4000. That means its built-in HDTV tuner, used for receiving over-the-air antenna and unscrambled QAM cable signals, cannot pass audio (both TVs lack analog audio outputs). If you're one of the few who actually uses the TV's tuner (as opposed to, say, a cable or satellite box) then you won't be able to hook any kind of external audio device to it; you'll have to rely on the TV's built-in speakers.
