Thread Details

I was looking for a Roku 3 player, and this price came up from dealscube.com.

Searching the site, I have not seen anything pertaining to this seller.
Has anyone had any dealings with these people before?
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Looks their setup like eBay the stuff u buy doesn't come from them but from whom
ever the seller is that lists it on their site. So it depends on the seller that's selling
it through deals cube.. Also deals cube Looks like relatively new marketplace
from the lack of listings etc. they've been up less then a year. The only thing you'd
have to go on is the sellers "maxdeals" individual rating on that site and that most
of those ratings are from the same people over and over...

Very few people are using that site that I can tell, I personally would either wait for
a deal on here or eat the $10 more to get it from a seller I could trust. But that's your
call that's just me. Another problem getting items thru auction style websites can be
getting any sort of mfg. warranty. again worth $10 to avoid the heartache to me at least.

I just purchased a copy of Win7 Professional for $26.... it took a couple emails going back and forth, but I did get a legit link to download the ISO file and the activation key they provided was valid.

I will probably continue to use dealscube and feel safe that I have PayPal protection.

seems like a fake post... same 1 post response from a 1 poster, like here on SD, on yahoo answers...

Never buy anything from this site - it is an absolute scam! They take money for items they don't have. After a month of waiting and promises that my item would ship they finally admitted that they didn't have the item. They promised a refund but did not deliver. Finally after threatening them with criminal and civil action they sent my refund. However they use a site called Dwolla for payment and it takes forever for the money to transfer. If I'm lucky it will be 53 days after placing my order before I see a refund. After searching for other comments on the internet I see that I am not the only one who has had this experience with this company.

dealsCube.com is a marketplace. We do not own or sell any items listed on the site. Plus all our buyers have a Buyer Protection from us. If the item was never received by you or was received by you but is damaged, defective or materially different from what was displayed on the dealsCube.com website by that seller, your purchased covered by dealsCube.com Marketplace Guarantee Program. We actually stop sellers from scamming to buyers.

You (the user pupperpawz) purchased the item from the seller, not from dealsCube. You were threatening the seller with criminal and civil action, not dealsCube.com. The seller failed to delivered your purchase and under the dealsCube.com Marketplace Guareantee Program, you received a full refund. Therefore, you were not scammed. dealsCube.com has protected you from being a scam victim. Your refund was issued through Dwolla, because your payment was received through Dwolla.

I sell on DealsCube.com! Come check out my store!

DealCube is not a scam. It's a place for people to sell. DC charges 5% for every sale. For small stuff it's not bad but for BIG sellers, 5% is a lot.

Dwolla is good too. Although I still haven't had any problems to use their Resolution service yet but as far as payments go, it's just like paypal. Transferring funds from your bank to Dwolla takes 3 to 5 days but that is same no matter what service you use, Paypal etc. But Dwolla charges 25 CENTS for funds 10 AND below, and 10.01 AND above are free. (it might be 9.99 and 10 up.) Their transaction is just as quick as Paypal.

If you are going to open an account with Dwolla, Please use my referral code!

Also, as a seller on DC I had few horrible buyers. But DC has always gave me my refund. So stop asking ppl and try it out. Try with small first if you are afraid. Buy from me! Big Grin
