sells at Kohls for over $100

$69 if you buy direct from Waring.

My local Costco had the Waring food dehydrator for $39.99.

Model number was different but specs are the same. 5 year motor warranty and Costco return policy make this deal unbeatable with the already low price.

I used it last night to make jerky and fruit roll ups for the kids using greek yogurt and strawberry jam...both came out very well.

I was buying dried and freeze dried fruits at Costco and fruit leather from Trader Joes to feed my kids...this unit should save me some $$$ in the long run.

I believe the 90 day return policy applies to certain items which Costco lays out. I believe "Electronic Items" in Costco's eyes are "technology" like computers, tablets, TVs.

In fact, here's Costco's info on returns: (source [costco.com])

Quote from costco.com :
The following must be returned within 90 days of purchase for a refund: televisions, projectors, computers, cameras, camcorders, touch screen tablets, MP3 players and cellular phones.

My friend's brother is a Regional Manager for Costco, and I've heard alot of craziness... I think if they can find that you actually bought it on your account with no receipt, OR if you have the receipt they will provide a refund (ie: make a copy since they use register tape that fades).

Years is not out of the question. I've heard TVs go back that were 8 years old, which is why they changed the policy on big ticket items. I'm actually sort of surprised jewelry doesn't have a limit- I've seen $20k rings in the store.

The guy above already posted the return policy. If it is not listed on the exclusion lists then it fall under Costco's "satisfaction guarantee" which is basically lifetime. stop being so lazy and do some work for yourself!

Finally got over to the store in Lawrence, NY. They had so many sitting there like nobody knew what they were, right next to ice cream machines and blenders. Score!! Now gotta find a good jerky recipe for my (baby) Rottweiler.
