never pay for these as you can get them Free after Rewards from Staples/ OD often
Even better for many situations you can use rechargeables. After you buy the batteries & a good smart charger (steep cost upfront but less than penny's to charge & if you learn or know how to use them --> charge correct rate and recharge before completely draining them you can get 500-1000's of recharges out of many of them, making these wasteful landfill batteries a thing of the past.
If you need the higher voltage they make 1.65V rechargeables now as well. Can be mixed / with NiMh in devices (similar mAhs best) for the same 1.5 voltage of Alkaline batteries.
I wanted to check the expiration dates on the ones I bought since some people who bought these have complained of expired dates on the batteries, here's what I got: 2016 - 14, 2017 - 45, 2018 - 41, 2019 - 5 (All with a MARch month.) Yes, they sent me 5 extra batteries (105.) I also noticed a cigarette smell on my fingers after handling/counting them. Sure enough, the batteries smell like cigarettes.
