I know right. lol. fat wrist?
only after i eat a lot, got some wiggle room. haha. i'm not sure what size watches you guys are buying if you think 43mm is big. most of these are larger than 45, but i guess it's a preference thing.

So tempting but this money could easily go towards my dream watch, the Omega Speedmaster.

Nonetheless, an excellent deal for anyone wanting a nice watch.

Really, I guess the 48mm case watches that Fossil has are only for rap stars Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
if the watch diameter is as large as your wrist, then yeah. it's like wearing the biggest circle bling right after your gold necklace. If your wrist fits then it's all good. I prob should have added (for me) although that should be assumed since everyone speaks to their own experience on SD

I love the titanium bands. It allows you to wear a larger watch without the heavy weight of those stainless stain bands. Some watches feel like large heavy shackles. But I guess some folks like it that way.
i have a relatively small watch (titanium 38mm Tissot PR50) because i have a relatively small wrist for a guy, and people are amazed at how light it is. the weight and hypoallergenic benefits have been listed, but i'll add that it is also not subject to the relatively rapid rusting/oxidation properties of stainless steel. most people won't have to worry about it at all because they only keep watches for a few years or don't wear them that often, but if you're hard on your steel watch or have it a long time, you could eventually see some rust. as long as the link bars are also titanium and you're not a chemist introducing very odd combinations to it, titanium probably won't show any oxidation in your lifetime. i've had my PR50 for almost ten years, and while i might not keep it for another forty, i like having the option. the only other metal i'd consider for a watch would be tungsten, but it would have to have a design that minimized material to offset the weight difference.

i almost dig the BM6060-57F enough to pick it up, but i prefer my faces a neutral grey/silver, i like the scratch resistance of sapphire, and the 40mm case might look a tad big on my wrist with that bracelet shape. great deals, though.

Any other comments on the eco drive? I've been searching for a reasonable titanium watch for a while, and they've got a couple that are considerably cheaper than other manufacturers.
I have a citizen eco-drive titanium (world time - can't remember the model number) which has been lying dead for the past 2 years after the "never replace battery" died after 5 years or so. the charge for replacing this battery is about $60-75.

Over time the battery no longer charges fully and cannot hold the charge for long periods of time. From what I understand, this is typical of the eco-drive.

I thought my Nighthawk died; one of the saddest watch days of my life. Then, I realized.... it runs on light. So I took the darn thing out of my jewelry...edit, watch box, and set it in front of the window for a few days. Low and behold, it worked! It needs light and a good amount of it to recharge it.

Besides for a scratch in the face (banged it hard on a corner a couple years back), it's an awesome watch. Love it!

probably because watches on sale are excluded.
does it work on watches that aren't discounted?

FWIW, I heard that the lume on the new black version (which you linked) is lackluster compared to the previous version (from this deal). But the new version does have the stopwatch functionality (which the previous version lacks).
