Thanks, worked like a charm! Hopefully when this is over they will offer the 6/25 deal. I love satellite radio, but $15 a month is a little too steep for me.

Ugh I don't qualify, I entered my VIN - "We could not find the VIN or Radio ID/ESN you entered"

Another bait and switch?!? Every time their promos turn into 1 week free and not what is stated.

My vin/car is not eligible. I tried the online chat and was told to call to get it. Not sure it's worth it.

Just FYI, I had a free 3 month trial like this with SiriusXM and received a bill after 3 months. I refused to pay it and they said ok that's no problem, sorry for the inconvenience -- then sent it straight to collections. I had debt collectors calling me at work over this. I spoke to a dozen managers and had to consult a lawyer and record every conversation I had with them. 6 months later after a dozen harassing phone calls by debt collectors, it was settled and I didn't have to pay. It was an absolute nightmare. BTW I never gave them ANY billing information or signed any type of contract.

According to customer chat:

All SiriusXM subscriptions (except for automotive trial subscriptions) automatically renew according to the billing plan you chose, and will automatically bill according to our then-current rates, until you call Sirius or XM to cancel. This means you get to keep listening through your renewal period without interruption. We provide information about auto renewal in several ways, including notification letters, here on this website, in your Customer Agreement and on invoices.

What happens after the two month trial is over? It says you must call to cancel. Am I going to recieve a bill?
They will bill you and send a collections agency after you if you don't pay. And good luck canceling. Doing your taxes is easier than cancelling a SiriusXM account.

Don't do it. From my experience, these folks are masters of the bait and switch. Your 3-month trial will turn into a 1 or 2-week trial and they will deny ever letting you sign up for a 3-month trial. I signed up for their free 6-month trial and they cancelled it on me after one week. YMMV, but I wouldn't even bother with these scoundrels.

It gives you the option to not choose a plan so you don't have to put your Debit/Credit card information for the trial. I chose the 0.00 plan with no monthly fee. It shows mine as being for two months with an end date of 6/01/13.

As long as you call to cancel before the end date you should be all set and not have to worry about getting a bill for something free you signed up for. In any case I intend on calling them and getting a reduced price for a year instead of the stand $180ish it goes for. In order to do that you have to have a trial or preexisting account first so they can offer you a reduced rate.

Just did it on both vehicles and worked! I choose no plan just the trial. If they even try to send me a bill it would never hold up in court Smilie
