Thanks. In for one with a "$5 off your purchase of $25 or more" $0.99-ebay-coupon....
$47.53 with tax and coupon...
I was going to buy a $43 60GB corsair nova 2 refurb from newegg, but this is better than that for only $3.53 more
I miss the cheap 30 to 60GB SSDs for $30 or less. It seems there's a price point now that SSDs just don't dip under even for the smaller sizes.
those vanished form the face of the earth...seriously...very hard to find. they want to shove 120GB harddrives up our throats

Got one for my netbook last time and working great. All depends on what your goal is and at what price point. For an older Sata II system you are not going to get any faster speeds with a Sata III drive and if you don't need any more space why not go cheap as possible.
The link you provided says "Max Sequential Read/Write", and that's my point, how often do you transfer large files?
Pretty sure it's NOT and contradicted yourself with the comment below...
And yet, you quoted the "SATA III (6 Gb/s) Interface / Up to 100 MB/s max write / Up to 260 MB/s max read" in your original post, and says it's slow.
Slow...compared to a mechanical HDD, and this is the "intended target" I'm talking about.
Read the description please, it says MAX speed not SEQUENTIAL.
MAX SPEED only benefits when transfer LARGE SINGLE FILES.
For Daily Uses SEQENTIAL SPEED is the real deal.
On any SSD, max read/write speed didn't mean shit, only random read/write matters. How many files in your system drive will be larger than 50MB? and how many are less than 500KB? do you really understand what cluster is?
