Good deal if you don't mind Sprint's network. It's not as fast as others but if you're around wifi all the time, then it's not a problem. Most people have wifi at home and work. I know people complain about Sprint but others would rather pay less.
by the time you want to change out your battery, it's about time you're going to upgrade to a new phone anyways.
if you can tolerate you iphone, this shouldn't be an issue. this has a 2300 mAh battery vs iphone/blackberry z10 which both are about 1800 mAh.
While this may be true for most users, some others like myself prefer to keep the phone for more than 2 years. I've been on my OG Evo for about 2.5 years and its still ticking--just needed a new battery, which was an easy replacement.
Ignoring the bitching about batteries, did any of you ACTUALLY TRY THIS (including the OP)? It's labeled Federal Employees Private Store, and it doesn't apply the $100 discount for switching over while also not promising to discount it later -- so the $99 price is probably after the $100 discount.
