tempting, but obvious this was built for lighter duty stuff, i.e. not pushing around loads of dirt/bricks/gravel/etc, well, not if you want it to last more than a year or two.

I got one of these a while back (around Nov or Dec) for only $10. I used the Zombie mulch coupon at the time so essentially got it for free. It was the last one available at the East Irvine store I think. I used it to mix Mel's mix for some garden boxes. Even though it can't hold a whole lot, it still came in pretty handy.

Really like mine. There were a bunch in Central PA last I looked. I'm going to use it to transport mulch to the back yard, also as a mulch/preen mixer. Should come in handy. For $20 I think it's a solid deal.

BTW I used it last night to roll 4 2 cu foot bags at a time of the bagged mulch into the back, worked well and navigated nicely.

In term of weight, about what's the most you had loaded?

I'm unsure how true but it states "can hold up to 4 lb. of material" which is rather little considering the size. I suppose anyone can load one in store to test.
4 lb is definitely a typo. I think it meant to say 4 cu ft.

The most I've probably loaded it is full loads of mulch or 6-8 concrete paving stones (1 foot by 1 foot). I haven't tried a full load of paving stones or gravel in it, so I'm not sure how it would handle things like that but I'm absolutely sure it handles more than 4lb.

There's also a similar cart in my local Ace ad for $25 (I think) this week, so it might be worth comparing all of them and finding the best option.

Gonna hold off for a real wheel barrow with the rubber wheels, Hopefully metal and bigger. This would get stuck in my yard on every other rock. Not be too much easier then carrying it. Holding out for the upgrade! hopefully wont be to much more

I got one last year. Definitely worth $20 and the 250 lb rating sounds believeable, but keep in mind that is the CARRYING capacity. If you DROP a big bag of mulch into it I wouldn't be surprised if the cart or the wheels get damaged. It also has a pretty narrow wheelbase, so it's prone to tipping over on hilly or bumpy terrain.

Ames used to be a department store on the east coast back in the 90's (Similar to Kmart, Jamesway, Caldor, etc..) I thought maybe they came back from the dead.
