Cart count here only dropped from 26 to 24 since noon. Some theories:1. Spring weather is six weeks behind normal;
2. Locals have big carts behind their John Deeres;
3. They stockpiled enough from last year's sale;
4. Folks here too po' ... ya cain't eats no stinkin' cart.

Saw them in Waltham, MA tonight and they seem nice, but seemed kinda thin maybe different from past offerings..
They had plenty of them and the guy said they had more on a palate in back..

Aldi (the food store) usually has one around $26 every year. They hold twice as much as this one. I use it to haul bricks, stones, dirt etc.

3 things I learned about these styled carts yrs ago
1.They are great with very light weight in them and only if you are pushing that weight
2. You can't pull anything with a normal gait in your stride, it has to be shortened otherwise you'll be clipping your achilles tendon in a heartbeat (poor design)
3. If you can get a longer axle (threaded rod) and add some old bike style tires to raise it up as these small wheels make it hard to move around. Otherwise it OK, But not for anyone tall or over say 51/2 ft tall

"Military ID 10% Discount, as always (thx HD!)"
Home Depot has changed its policy to EXCLUDE veterans from the 10% discount military discount. Only includes active military now. They no longer respect returning veterans, the policy only applies to a few holidays a year. Go to Lowe's instead as they still respect veterans with a courtesy 10% discount.

Although none are available for me to purchase, the modifier in me would loop and tie rope through the handles holes. Duct taping the rope ends to couple and to form a padded grip zone.

Went to the store to check them out first. For what we need one for it was perfect. My toddler also wanted to get in and test it out. Hah.

Has anyone actually found and bought the 4 cu ft one yesterday or today? No stores in Portland, OR have them - I only found the 3 cu ft. ones and most people on this list are saying their stores only have the 3 cu ft. ones too (TX, SoCal, etc). I even typed in Seattle zipcodes and all stores said NO STOCK just like Oregon. Just curious. Thanks.
