How do these compare to the xtreme gaurd? I ordered the xtreme gaurd ones the last time they had a coupon... on around the 1st... and they still have yet to come in. They were only about 2 bucks a piece, so its not a huge deal...
I've used xtreme guard and IMHO they are xtreme crap. Never tried ZAGG. I think as long as it is applied correctly, there shouldn't be issues.

I've been a ZAGG fanboy for a long time....Wanted to try something different and see if paying a premium (via ZAGG) was really worth it or not! I got in on an Xtreme deal here a while back, and I can tell you they SUCK!

Comparison:

Materials:
Zagg, Wins here! Zagg's screen have a slicker feel and don't collect any permanent dust and doesn't get sticky after a few weeks. Also Zagg's materials don't yellow. These do!

Application:
ZAGG wins again! While I'm no fan of the ZAGG liquid/spray process, at least they provide you with a solution and applicator. Xtreme does not include this with their product

Packaging:
ZAGG wins again! Packaging is solid here. When you get you skins they aren't bent or damaged....Period!!! With Xtreme, they throw them in a standard envelope and ship it to you. While their customer service was more than willing to ship out new ones, it was a pain in the butt

Warranty:
ZAGG wins again! Warranty is life time with ZAGG. Just return it (w/$5) and they will continue to give you new skins regardless if you change your phone due to damage or defect.

Customer Service:
ZAGG wins here.....They always are pleasant on the phone with me.

ZAGG Zealot Points:
The more you buy, the more points you get to spend on things in their store. The longer you are a member, the more free stuff you get. I've been with them now 5+ years and after the 3rd year, I started getting links to free stuff....good stuff!

Bottom line, you get what you pay for! If you want cheap...go for it! You want quality, BUY elsewhere....

Just my two cents.....
For the warranty, I believe it's $3.99 for exchanges/shipping, unless it's changed it recently. You also have to pay to ship your old one back (regular stamp).

Zagg is one of the worst screen protectors i've ever used. Although it provides great screen clarity it peels off in a month or two. I have not used xtreme guard though so I can't compare them. If you buy Zagg be prepared to replace it often

If you want the best screen protector, go with Bodyguardz pure. I've had mine since they came out on my iphone 5 and it has yet to lose adhesive. I use their clear skin for the back and I have yet to replace that either. It's like magic

Just an opinion I'm going to throw out. I've seen ZAGG used on iPhones and I hated it. I switched to Bodyguardz. Their film was so much thinner and very smooth. Never had issues with touch and customer service is excellent. If you purchase the full body protector for phones you get two sets for $24.99 without discount and lifetime replacements for $5 each. You also get an advantage discount after purchasing from them. (20% off all future purchases) The protector will also self-heal (to some extent) and is anti-microbial.

P.S. I haven't tried their new Pure screen protector. It's a hard glass protector, I'm waiting to get a new phone. XD

Edit: And the inventor of invisible shield and ZAGG founder joined Bodyguardz. Hmmmm. Smilie

I've had to replace the full body protectors after about 8 months of heavy use without a case. How is the pure? I'm thinking of buying it. Does it apply easy? Does it take away any touch sensitivity?

I've had zagg on my iPhone 5 for over 3 months now. No peeling at all and it's been great no issues what so ever. No orange peel effect either.

anyone know if the protector for the 3dsxl comes for both screens or only one ?

hmmmmm, i have had ZAGG on my phone for 2 years. Not one issue with it......guess it depends on the phone and the installer.

After using Pure, I cannot imagine using another.

It is one of the hardest to apply since you only got 1 shot to do it right. I did a few 'test runs' before actually applying it, which helped a lot.

It does not take away any touch sensitivity. Also, since it's tempered glass, it feels just like the actual screen. Most people that have played with my phone didn't even realize there was a protector on it until I told them and even then they didn't believe it until they looked closer and saw the thick piece of glass lol.

for some reason, i am stuck on the "smudge proof" versions of these. Any of these other companies have a decent smudge proof one?

Am I the only one who just buys like 5 generic screen protectors for a dollar from eBay? I mean, they eventually get scratches but, at 20 cents a pop, it's not a big deal to replace them.

Thanks OP. Had some PayPal $ laying around in my account.

I wanted to try Ghost Armor, I've heard good things, but this deal was to good not to try out.

I went with the HD full body for my IP5.
