The lowest I have seen for a refurb Tab 2 10.1 is $194.99 at BB. The tab was refurb by company named nukousa, when I did search on it, it seems they are doing refurb for Samsung, Panasonic, and one other brand that I forgot.
the refurb I received from BB is like new. I would assume that it's a customer returned item. Even the charger looks new (minus the plastic cover that comes with new charger), no scratch, nothing.
Before BB drops it to $194.99, it was $224.99.
As far as screen resolution, if you have seen Nexus 10, then you would not want to see this tab anymore, it's like after watching HDTV or Bluray, you do not want to watch STV or DVD. 1280x800 is found on S3 phone, so stretching the same res to double the LCD size, well, you would see some pixels.
For me, if given the choice, I would buy Nexus 10, but N10 just came out, so it's still $400 for 16 GB. I bought mine at $210 after tax at BB, and the only reason I buy it is because of its low price. I was ready to return it if the refurb condition is not like new, but I received a pristine tab, so I decided to keep it. I figure after a year of use when I am ready to upgrade, I would think I lose little money if I resell it again. If it's not that low, I would buy Nexus 10 just for the display.
