This price is almost identical to the Black Friday sale they had in November. I purchased the sub at that time with high expectations, and this sub exceeded them. At normal price, it seems to be the most highly regarded of the extremely budget subs at AVSForum, and this price is a $20-$30 savings off the regular price. Plus there is a coupon code for an additional $5 off.

There is a shipping upcharge of $15 even after getting "free" shipping on orders over $98 (applies to subtotal). However, even with the upcharge, the total should be about $110.

The math:
$100 price
- $5 coupon code (try SAVE52012 or PESAVE5)
+ $15 shipping upcharge (because the sub weighs almost 45 lbs)

Be aware the coupon code is entered at a weird spot. The box only seems to appear on the checkout screen where you pick your credit card, but do not enter the CC number. The box for the coupon is under the credit card options is the promo code box.

Looks like the price changed back to $129. Still, I called and was able to get the sale price.

Now, if they could put the 15" HO Dayton raw sub on sale. Just bought the amp, building the box, just need the driver! Smilie I've only heard one Dayton sub, thus making me want to build my own. I'm upgrading from a Velodyne 10" sub for home theater (~$400 a few years back). I'm paying ~$450 for the full build of my new one. From what I hear, it's going to be amazing. Big Grin

Good news. I just called and told them I had one in my cart for $100 but didn't pull the trigger. (not a lie! I did!). He gave me the sale price and told me about the $14.95 shipping upcharge.

So if you call you can still get this great deal. They are very nice to deal with.

BTW, I was able to get my local Frys to match the Newegg/Amazon deal on the Energy Power 10 for $80 ( but the Energy is just not enough sub for my home theater and it is going back.

It is only rated down to 45 hz and is too quiet. Not enough power and leaves off some of the low end.
