Not too terrible of a price these days and it's actually in stock. If you are willing to put the work in you can get Federal brass .223 at Walmart for about $0.35 a round, which is barely more than the roughly $0.30 that this turns out to be. If I had the extra cash right now I would probably order this to stock up on plinking ammo. It does seem that ammo is slowly starting to show up more and more. A local Walmart actually had a decent amount of .40 and .45 ammo in stock for most of the day today.
If you're still there, I have 1,000 rounds in my cart that I'm about to remove. I'm not sure how fast their inventory system makes it available again, but keep hitting refresh, and maybe you can snag it!
My order went through, but I got the confirmation email just now and it says backordered until 5/29!!
The same thing happened to me when i order 100 rounds of Herter .223 from Cabela's a few weeks ago. Email confirmation said it was on backorder and wouldn't ship for 4 weeks. I ended up getting a shipping confirmation 2 or 3 days later and had the ammo within 7 days. It's worth a shot. Cabela's backorder is actually reliable, unlike some other online ammo retailers.
