Thanks and Repped OP! My alert came in handy! I have never purchased fivefingers before. I went with Treksport, anyone own these and like them? $100 retail, $34.99 seems great. Also 5% at cash back site.

I have high arches, and never enjoyed running until I got KSOs from REI last year.

Picked up some a few weeks ago from this deal. Definitely need to break yourself into these. But I like 'em, kinda freaky looking and a conversation starter at the gym. Going to get some more...

Seems true to size if you use the European > US conversion tables but I'd recommend trying them out at Footlocker just to be sure. I'm a size 8.5 and 42 worked for me.

I bought them last time, and it wasn't that comfy and had to pay the shipping if you want to return.

Not recommended buying from this site.

do these work well for runners with high arches?
Supposedly the bikala LS and bikala regulars are good for high arched runners (over other types of vibrams)

This is an insanely good deal on the bikala LS...thanks OP

Do you think people with "high arches" ran barefoot back in the early days of man? Heck no. They strapped on some Nike Air Swooshes and chased a mastodon. Or, they commanded the flat footed, barefoot slaves to do the same for them! People with high arches are very special and tens of thousands of years of wearing cushy running shoes should not be gone against. It's unnatural.
lol! that was funny... and a great strawman. I had to laugh at someone who said we should run in these (or barefoot) simply because way back when they didn't have a choice (on a past thread, not this one). foot docs love these though... so many more patients to treat.

Does any one know what the difference is between these different models? KSO vs Bikila vs Bikila LS. Do you need the individual toe socks for these? Is there a good sizing guide? Thanks!

I love sprints for my high arches--the top strap really causes the shoe to hug the curve of my foot. I don't know what I'd do without these shoes--they're the best. I'm a 9.5 women's, and size 40 in these. However, you should try these on in a store to get an idea of sizing before buying these online if there's no return shipping.

Since this was my first fivefingers purchase as well, I googled info on different styles. I came across this: http://www.myfivefingers.com/five...st-for-me/ the author seemed to have a lot of info about each one. I also checked the company site and checked off the different activities I do to see a shoe that appeared in all or most of the categories I chose: http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/...sports.htm
After both those sites, I ended up with treksport.

Also, here is the sizing guide on the site: http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/size_fit/

I think they are the same, but use this chart on vibram's site.- (http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/...gchart.cfm)

Glad I checked that out since I would have bought the wrong size. I've wanted to try these before. We'll see.

I got these socks- http://www.amazon.com/Injinji-Per...tst_clth_i

My advice: Nothing will beat going to the store and trying the different models on (if there is a store nearby you).

I went to a nearby store and tried out the Bikila LS and the KMD (Komodo) LS. I would say that the KMD LS is slightly tighter (sorry, I wasn't interested in the KSO so I didn't try them out). The sizing is not true to the chart (in my opinion). I would say that i'm about 9.5 US MENS, so I wanted to try the 41. It was too tight, but 42 fit better. The difference between Bikila and Bikila LS is the strap system. IMO the LS model is much easier to fit and more comfortable (and makes it easier for me to get my wide fit into the shoes).

The store wouldn't price match because the ones they had were a different color so I went home and ordered online via 6PM.

These are the ones I bought ^... they're on sale at 1/2 the cost of the store... OP can you include this in your orig. posting?

Womens model in various colors are also on sale...

I chose the KMD LS over the others because the sole is thicker (I watched various videos on the 6PM website for more information). People have mentioned it being good for running, crossfit...variety of activities (watch video on 6PM website...), and reviews of the KMD/Komodo LS on amazon are really good and informative. The Bikila LS felt like my feet weren't protected enough. Since the KMD is thicker, it has a nicer weight (IMO) and it's a good middle ground between protection and still being able to strengthen your feet/toes.

Repped.
