Don't believe I got the correct charging cable with traffic. Can anyone confirm the model number on their charger. Mine is a TA20 car charger. Thanks.

Fantastic! Guess I am going to contact Tiger Direct about this. Not sure how they are going to handle it. I may be better off going through Garmin. Thank You.

Update: Contacted Tiger Direct, they are going to send me out a replacement. Hopefully this one is correct. Allegedly I will still be good for the rebate if I send the current information. They notated my account. Fingers crossed, hope this all works out and I just got unlucky. Decent customer service, they will only charge me for the replacement if they don't receive the old one back from me. Amazon doesn't do that.

Mine also came with a TA20 cable, but the traffic seems to work. The traffic symbol turned green although it didn't get any traffice update. I don't know if it was because I tested in during non-rush hour.

Just called Garmin. TA-20 cable for units with traffic receiver built into GPS. Serial number of unit will start with 2LQ.

For the GTM 26 or 36 cable, the unit serial will start with 2EW. Those have receiver in the cable.

Thanks, hhjr888. The serial number on mine does start with 2LQ and I got a TA20 cable. I think it's safe now for me to cut the UPC and send the rebate form.

I would recommend checking the traffic settings in the menu and see if it's enabled when the cable is plugged in.

I got the TA20 correct cable for my receiver with Serial number 2LQ*****

But the USB mini cable that came with it is incorrect. I can't even put it into the GPS device. So you might all want to check that one too. I'll call TG for the mini-usb cable replacement.

What the heck. Took it out to test drive and was disappointed the voice on this GPS sounded like it was coming from an underwater well, very garbled. I have a Garmin 255w and the voice is clear as a crystal.

Anyone else have this issue? Do I need a firmware update? My dashboard doesn't show any more updates pending. Not a major issue but slightly irritating.

I enabled Traffic but I was driving around smaller streets and neighborhoods yesterday. Am I supposed to get something from enabling the Traffic feature?

If you press the traffic button on the screen it will tell you if you have a traffic signal or not... that's about all I know of it right now... traffic is not available in all areas so your results may vary.

My unit 2LQ... and charger is P/N 320-00239-70 (GF-279-N502-1). Traffic doesn't seem to be working. EEK!

On top of that, the UPC label is scratched and numbers are not visible out of box. I am going to call TG now.

Edit: did some googling. it seems P/N:320-00239-70 is actually TA20 cable. Can anyone confirm the part number or if this is true?Frown

Mine just came. I freaked out that it had the TA20 cable. After reading though I have the serial on the 2555 of 2LQ. So I'll get it set up and see if it works.

I went to settings and saw the traffic option. I clicked and it said I need an accessory to make it work. Frown
Looks like more phone calls on Monday.

Where do u see TA20 written? I can only see the P/N 320-00239-70 as the part number.
