SYWR Card = Shop Your Way Rewards Card. A KMart Savings Card that you must sign up for if you want to take advantage of deals here! Earn 10 points for every dollar you spend. 1,000 points = $1. Points can be redeemed at KMart, Sears, and Lands End. You're eligible for additional Bonus Offers and be able to make no-receipt-required returns for purchases credited to your Membership. A word of catuion - KMart has been known to suspend cards when doing multiple back to back transactions. The magic number seems to fall somewhere between 2 and 7. If your card is suspended, you can still earn points for your purchases, but you cannot redeem them until the suspension has been lifted. SYWR VIP Levels = The SYWR Card offers several VIP levels based on your annual spend (calcuated before coupons!). Each level comes with different "benefits".

SYWR BONUS POINTS OFFERS = KMart runs deals weekly strictly for SYWR members, and often times those offers include earning bonus points on certain purchases. These offers can be confusing, but if you follow the guidelines below, everything should work in your favor. If an offer states "Recieve a COUPON for $X (X points) when you spend $X on ____", KMart counts the amount towards this threshold BEFORE any coupons are used. However, if the offer simply states "Recieve XX bonus points ($X value) when you spend $X on ____" then KMart requires you to spend the necessary amount AFTER coupons are redeemed. Clear as mud, right? Just remember if you see the word COUPON, it means total BEFORE Qs.

CRT = Cash Register Tape Coupon. Prints after reciept. Usually a $/$ that you can roll into the next transaction. Generally speaking P&G CRT's are the only ones that do not roll. You can only redeem one CRT per transaction. Redeeming a CRT does not negate another CRT from printing.

CAT = Catalina (Red/White Coupon). Comes from the Catalina machine at the end of your purchase. Always make sure the Catalina machine is on, and note that the Customer Service Desks DO NOT have these machines. As long as a CAT says MFR COUPON at the top, you should be able to redeem along with a CRT. If the CAT says STORE COUPON, you can NOT combine with a CRT in the same transaction.

CSP= Check Shelf Price. When an item scans CSP, the item should be 50%-90% off. For more info read Kmart 101 by adawn80

Christmas Clearance Schedule:
It's usually 1 week at 50% unless it would fall on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday...then it would be 1 week plus X number of days until the first Monday after a weekend.
Then two weeks at 75% off.
Then 90% off for one or two weeks before being pulled from the shelves.

So this year it should go:
75% off Monday, January 2nd
90% off Monday, January 16th
