It's a BRIBE! Like hush money! ![]() If I chose to speak to a manager, I would get a case number and the manager would have to call me back. It would also be a formal complaint against the store. Give them you name and address, date, store number, receipt number, and what catalina you expected. You can also attach a copy of your receipt. (I guess with Kmart you could forward a copy of your ereceipt) I sent this and got a catalina by mail: Kmart advertised a catalina for buying $9 worth of Glad I purchased 2 Glad trash bags at $6.29 each and did not receive a catalina. Date: 3/18/2012 @ 8:15 pm Kmart store 93xx Item purchased 2 Glad Trash Bags 30 Gal Price $6.29 each x 2 = $12.58 Receipt number 09xxx-031812-003-00xxx Copy of receipt attached. My 2 stores were still out of Crave cat treats so I'm worried my MQ's will expire before they restock. I have the $1/2 MQ's expiring 4/21. I managed to stock up on the Purex Ultra tabs though (SWEET DEAL @ $.50 each AC!) |

Always ISO drink single coupons(Vitamin Water, Honest Tea, Propel, etc.) and $ off 12 packs or 2L Diet Coke/Pepsi/Dr. Pepper. PM me for trades.

OMG! I didn’t follow up on my complaint last time, because I have gone back to that KMART and everything went fairly smoothly. So I thought maybe they realized they were wrong and I wouldn't have more problems. I was wrong. Tonight I walked out without buying anything. I was planning on doing $30 P&G – and having a $50 plus purchase and so I could get my 5,000 points I was offered in a SYWR email. I had Olay, Crave Cat Treats, Fruity Pebbles (Not on sale – my son wanted them), a gallon of milk, Pringles, and a Liquid Gold Cleaner with a Try Me Free rebate on box. Unfortunately it went poorly. The same Customer Service person who refused to take my printable and threw it back at me the other night came over. He strolled by and told me “By the way, we can’t accept the Crave Coupons; that would make them free.” Well dang – I could just put the Crave back, but then I would go under $50. I sure as heck am not going to pay that price for the milk and the cereal unless I am getting the 5,000 points I was offered in the email. I guess I could have just put those back too – and stuck to the Olay. But that was $30 toward $50 --- Kmart kind of sucks you into hell with those spend this and get that deals… So anyway… I told him I didn’t understand why they wouldn’t take the Crave coupons. I told him I had used them before with no problem. (And dang… I was in such a hurry that I didn’t even THINK it through – I should have been using some of my $1 off 2 coupons, because they would have doubled. Here I was WASTING my $1 off 1 coupons and he wanted to deny them.) He started going on and on about how Kmart doesn’t work that way. You CANNOT get things FREE with coupons….NOT here at KMART!... THEN he says “You ALWAYS come in here around closing time and we ALWAYS have PROBLEMS with YOUR coupons!!” This is only the SECOND time I have ever even SEEN him!!! How DARE he tell me what I “ALWAYS” do! They had problems with ONE Renuzit Newspaper Insert coupon not scanning correctly ONE TIME, - ONE $1 coupon wouldn’t scan out of the OVER $700 I have spent at KMART in the last few months - and he has declared some kind of war on my coupons…. I told him I wanted to speak to the manager. He still kept going on and on about how I always came in at closing time causing problems with my coupons… I asked for a manager again. He went out and talked to her. Then he came back in and told me they would “accept” the coupons – BUT he started in on me again about always coming in at closing time and always having problems…. He was actually walking back and forth in front of the check out lanes yelling this stuff out…. I told him I still wanted to talk to the manager. I had the cashier void my order and give me my coupons back. My hands were shaking. I was stunned! The manager came in and she was pretty nice after I explained the situation. She did say she would talk to him, and did say that she will inform the store manager. She also told me that if I shop and she is on duty to come and get her to be there when I check out if he is working in customer service to make sure he doesn’t give me a hard time. But how in the world would I know if she is working? And that kind of let me know that they probably won’t make him stop being mean, they will just help me avoid being tormented by him IF she is on duty. Oh… I also told her that I was concerned that he had been turning other store employees against me since another cashier (not the one who checked me out) told the guy she “admired” him when he was stomping off after telling me off one last time... |

Sorry you had trouble with the Scott deal, too! I'm also concerned about my Crave q's. I ordered a bunch, and then discovered that my store doesn't even carry the stupid things! ![]() ![]()

. You can try to call CS, but they are pretty much useless. After my incident, I went to another Kmart and asked to speak to their manager. I explained what happened at the other store and just wanted to make sure that they didn't have the same policy. I wasn't trying to tattle tell. She was like, seriously? She promptly called the other store where it happened. They now want me to come back in and talk to them. I was going to go back on my own before she spoke to them, but I chickened out. I now am going back to the original store with a new-found confidence and try to sort this out. I have never in all of my life seen such poor customer service from one store to the next. I hope that this can be resolved in your case.

Out of the over $700 I have spent - they had trouble with ONE Renuzit Buy 2 Get One coupon. The only other "problems" they have had is the ones they have created, by throwing my $1 off 2 Ritz coupon back at me.and by telling me I couldn't use my Crave coupons because that would make my item free. Both times it was the same employee that gave me a hard time. At least the manager on duty this time seemed to realize the employee was in the wrong. But I do not want to shop there anymore unless I have some kind of assurance that they will not allow this employee to bully me when I go in and try to shop with my perfectly legitimate coupons. |
