I have the A502R (the same set, really) from Sams Club, and the only issue is that it sometimes refuses to recognize any infrared remote commands. This occurs very infrequently, with several weeks between events. I suspect it's something to do with sunlight overpowering the IR receiver, but I can't get my spouse to keep the blinds closed.
Picture and sound are top-notch. Well worth it at this price. Vizio is definitely better than Westinghouse.
50" LED I suppose is better than LCD but if you are comparing Westinghouse Led with Vizio LCD than that will be a tough sell. From quality and durablity perspective I will go with Vizio over westinghouse any day
you don't really notice the difference with the back lighting LED compared to the LCD and you definitely don't see any difference going from 60Hz to 120Hz unless you're playing a Blue Ray movie. The LED does have a higher Contrast Ratio of 2,000,000 compared to the LCD 100,000. But some think that's a negative because the LED shows a too real to life image making you notice flaws on the movie sets or tv show sets or in the actors facial tones. The LCD probably will be phased out eventually but at this point I'm not satisfied yet with the LED enough to pay the extra price.
