Running doesn’t require a lot of special gear. A good pair of shoes and a comfortable moisture-wicking t-shirt are all you really need. The Men’s Starter Dri-Star Compression Running T-Shirt is engineered to draw sweat away from your skin, keeping you cool and dry. The Star-Fit material keeps the fabric close to your skin to prevent chafing and provide support. Perfect for running, hiking, biking and the gym, this shirt is sure to be your new go-to favorite. Remember, this is a fitted compression shirt. If you prefer a traditional relaxed fit, order 1 or 2 sizes up.

Good price, don't know about good product though. I think its safer to stick with the eastbay slickdeal if you don't want to take a risk

Can anyone compare these to Hind or GH Sports running shirts? Or even the Nike dry fit ones? Maybe I'll stop by Walmart to see what they're like. I prefer thin shirts, like those from Hind that I keep finding at TJ Maxx for $6-10.

Remember when Starter was the UnderArmor of athletic gear? When I was a kid, I had to get 'used' Starter jackets because we couldn't afford the new price.

Now it's the cheap brand at Walmart. Too funny.

Hrm any stores where I can "window shop" this? I want a relaxed fit, but don't know if I should do one or two sizes up...
Go with the Eastbay 2 for $20 [eastbay.com] deal if you want "relaxed" fit.

Would that not defeat the purpose? Or is that like putting water-proofing a Goretex boot (a woman once was proud of her boyfriend for doing that)?

Relaxed fit and compression shirt are kind of a contradiction in terms.
I think so. I would expect that if material wicks away the sweat then it needs to be next to the skin.

I went all the way through checkout and then it told me that blue is sold out...not feeling the black. Oh well.

What's the warranty on this shirt. I got quite a gut to compress.
I Think I'll pass.
