now its back in stock again .. they must be building them as we speak.
Looks like it has some good qualities, but the 2x color wheel is concerning for persons like me who see rainbows with DLP.

Is there anything out yet thats more reliable and suited to heavy daily use than Dlp with moving color wheel and old school short life bulbs?
I miss my crt projectors reliability.
I want high res, long life fit for someone that works and plays all day every day on the thing. Nothing i tried since crt has lasted.
I have an LG PA70G LED projector. It has seen heavy daily usage by myself and family since last summer, including by my kids who don't always take the greatest care of things. Got it for $450 and we operate it like a big 100" TV in a light controlled basement. The LG doesn't have a color wheel and so far seems robust. It has been a great purchase and lots of fun.
But the LG is only 720p and not as bright as something like this Acer unit. For now you got to look at the +/- and see what fits the bill. I have heard later this year, there might be a few new 1080p LED projectors released.
