CrashPlan is really I/O intensive when storing data, so it's especially sensitive to slow-performing storage. The other thing that might be a hindrance is I *think* storage pools rely on UNC for addressing? CrashPlan doesn't support UNC at this time, so you'd have to use a workaround to make that work.
Backup sets are cool. You can set priority by set. Default priority for a single set is to back up most recently changed files first.
Well then! Clearly the problem is my inability to find the right documentation pages. Oh that little enable button was cleverly hidden in view. Sneaky. That would also explain what [Default] means in the log.
If the storage pool is using UNC addressing, it's at a layer that's invisible to most of the OS including the crashplan service.
Also, I'm pretty impressed by the compression.. >50% for my data. Saved many GB of uploading (and storage space on your end)
