That's what I was thinking: I doubt they'll give $100 for a phone that you were able to pick up for so cheap. Or will they?
And it has to be in good cosmetic condition and working, right?
I wonder who buys all those phones on the back end off of HTC and all the other people running these trade-in programs.
They will take a Nokia Nuron (a cheap entry level phone based on the 5800 Xpressmusic that was on T-Mobile). I had a few lying around because that's the last phone we got free off of t-mobile. I believe it's clover wireless handling it. HTC is just using a 3rd party recycler (the same one most other companies use) they're just offering an "insurance", if you will, to those who purchase an HTC One.
