The battery is already really good as it is, but if you want more juice, I highly recommend the Anker 6200 mAH extended battery. It EASILY gets me 10+ hours of screen time with all the bells and whistles running. I actually like the extra thickness it provides. Makes it easier to hold (I don't use a case) plus it raises the areas around the camera -- no worries about scratching the lens -- and around the speaker -- projects the noise at you when face down. And it's only $17 on Amazon.
Kickstarters I've backed
Project Eternity -- Shaker -- Hero U: Rogue to Redemption -- Star Citizen -- Wasteland 2 -- Planetary Annihilation -- Shadowgate -- Sui Generis -- Thorvalla -- Sir, You Are Being Hunted -- Forsaken Fortress -- Torment: Tides of Numenera
I won't knock the GS4 but I'd personally buy a Note2 for the screen size and S-pen. The Note2 completely replaced my Nook and I like having the option of sketching out ideas. And the battery life is good.
I went ahead and turned on the CPU throttling on mine to get a bit more life, but mainly as a psychological ploy against myself. When I start thinking about a new phone the original battery will probably have lost 10-15% life. I'll get a new battery and turn off the throttling to get more runtime and a speed "boost" .
I don't like the slick plastic back but I'll live with it if that's what it takes to have a removable battery. Besides, I've wrapped it in a case so it doesn't matter that much.
One downside of the Note2 is that the sheer size means every case case weighs a ton. My wife's Note2+Otterbox is ~9oz. But she also stopped carrying 12oz of e-reader so it's still a win.
Amazon.com does not have a price-matching policy at this time for any

Anyone know if I were to sign a new 2 year contract buy the phone for $10 and then cancel it. Do I just need to pay the $325 ETF? Are there any charges for canceling the contract. I know with other deals, BestBuy etc, you have you to pay AT&T ETF and BestBuy ETF.
325 for ETF and your monthly bill ...that's it.. I took two note 2's when it was 99 cents and then cancelled after 14 days
