I'm dying to know...who took Grandma Bronner's cash?
The grandson in the Panama hat was snooping around grandma's room when he found the cash. He thought "Gee. I'd better put this in the bank before one of my siblings steals it." So he did deposit the cash in an account in grandma's name. He just didn't tell grandma that he'd deposited it. Oh, and it was a joint account so he had complete access to it. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
I bought 2 bottles today at GNC. plus got 3 jars of aloe vera cream and cocoa butter (which were buy 2 get 1 free). The cashier signed me up for the GNC membership for free and took the coupon without any questions. Walked out the door for $13.36 + tax.
$13.13 1st bottle of Dr. Bronners (with GNC member discount)
$6.56 2nd bottle (50% off)
$1.74 jar of cocoa butter
$1.93 jar of aloe vera cream
$0 3rd jar of cream
$23.36 - $10 = $13.36
interesting. so if you combine 50 percent water and 50 percent brommers solution you can create a soap to scrub dishes...this same soap solution can be used to wash your hands.
Im going to get this. peppermint. but i have no idea what other scent to get.
I've used the Lavender to wash my towels. Also use homemade lavender fabric softener made from hair conditioner, vinegar, and water. Mrs Jablomi has sensitive skin, but doesn't have any problems with this combination.
Works okay as a laundry detergent, but apparently you should also add some other things like washing soda to help with really dirty stuff. I use 2 oz per load, but at $10 per 32oz, that's $0.625 per load....which I'm sure is much more expensive than regular detergent.
Picked up 3 scents (Tea Tree, Lavender, and Peppermint) at Whole Foods for $10 each. Really haven't had a chance to try out many of the uses, waiting for the boys to run out of body wash and for the hand soap containers to be empty.
Have read that all 3 of those scents, along with Eucalyptus, are good natural repellents of fleas and other insects, so will most likely be using this to wash the dogs and their bedding.
