I always avoid these super cheepies because I know that lead is the cheapest pvc stabilizer... Not saying that big companies always get it right, but I'm not a fan of these non-branded toys. Fine for a shelf, but not for toys.
My 6yr old LOVES Mario Stuff. I was lucky to find a pretty cool set last Christmas at Barnes and Noble which only had a few characters and was $20. This will replace some of the lost ones and add quite a few new characters.
Being a huge fan of Mario myself, this is awesome.
The ones from Barnes and Noble characters were poorly put together, as the arms and heads were coming off. They weren't supposed to, but little super glue fixes them up real nice. Just a heads up if your Mario Characters are falling to pieces.
Yeah I found some similar mario kart toys in Marshall's once. They seemed authentic and cost about $13. The figures were all in their respective driving karts. We used them for my nephews b-day cake. They weren't cheap and the cars rolled around the floor pretty smoothly. I'll pass on these.
