Did you get my PM?

I sent two, but none are showing in my history. If not, here's what I sent ya, which is pretty harmless as public knowledge. :-P
------------------------------------------
1. I called the 1-800 number and hit "0" a bunch of times, which allowed me to reach the operator.
2. I explained my situation to him, and he transferred me to what I believe was the customer care dept.
3. I re-explained my problem and, after a brief hold, was issued a $50 credit.

Good luck!
Unfortunately they did nothing for me, what they did for you is the way they should handle it and treating customers well. Because they were so resistant to do so they lost my order completely and I cancelled my order. Shame on them.

I'm sorry it didn't work out. Hopefully others have more luck with this. My brother will be needing some, as he is also in the same boat. :-(

Customer Care.

Again, my laptop recently shipped out and has not even arrived yet, which is maybe why I was able to get the $50 back. YMMV.

Yeah mine is the same situation, it is marked as shipped 4/28 (ordered 4/27) but they said it hasn't actually shipped. Either way they spewed some nonsense about because it has moved to an invoice they can't modify anything but they can cancel it. I tell them to cancel and now I've been on hold for 30 minutes finding someone capable of doing so.

shady website?
This is a clean site. I did that two months ago and combined $400+$500 to a single $900 card.

So...can you buy THIS twice, and use the $700 credit on this:
http://slickdeals.net/f/5996230-50-Sharp-Aquos-LC-50LE440U-1080p-LED-HDTV-300-Dell-eGift-Card-700-Free-Shipping?v=1

Effectively making the TV $300, and getting an extra Dell $300 eGift Card?
Actually you will get an additional 5% Dell Rewards gift card back too.

I need to purchase a Dell Laptop through the business site using a school link through dell.com. Can I purchase multiple gift cards here and combine them and use it to purchase the laptop? Also, if I can purchase a Dell Business Outlet computer, can I use this gift card to purchase it?

Is there a limit on how many times you can receive the $50 promotional card? I need to purchase 3-4 $300 cards.

And one last question, can I use multiple promotion $50 cards on one purchase?

OK. I am confused here. Dell still has their easy return policy, which says no restocking fee.

So can I just send the laptop back? I think I got taken for a ride on my refurb laptop purchase.

I believe as long as it hasn't shipped yet.
tried it last time where it's $400 gifcard Promo, once it's ordered it has to be re-ordered to charge differently, so ship or not shipped doesn't matter. It's if you can re-order from the inventory left or whatever discount it has enjoyed.

For the laptop I ordered, there is no more inventory although the coupon is still good (till tomorrow). So technically I can return the one in shipping but there is none to be re-ordered.

Regular gift cards can be combined using the Dell website.
Promo cards cannot be combined.

Ordering online only allows for 2 forms of payment, and it will not let you use a promo and regular gift card in the same transaction.

That said, the telephone reps have a little more slack, and folks have managed to combine ONE promo card with ONE gift card plus a credit/debit card to make a purchase when calling in and placing an order over the phone.

So, simple answer is, you can only use 1 promo card per purchase. Unless you need a lot of accessories, getting several might not help you much. But since they're free, why not get what you can and then see if something comes up within the next 90 days to use them on?

Speaking of promo cards, Dell just sent me a $12 card out of the blue, for no reason I know of. Folks might want to check their emails, look for something from "dellgiftcards@cashstar.com"
