This deal EXPIRED on May 14.

Just a note: the gift card doesn't expire, but the promo one does, usually within 3 months. I had that 75$ promo (from buying 400$) expired on me. It's not in the email which contained the GC, you have to log in to see your GC balance and at one corner it will tell you the expiration date

I can't stress enough what the guy above me said about the $50 promo expiring. BE VERY VERY VERY AWARE ABOUT IT EXPIRING. I LOST 2x$50 BECAUSE I WASNT READING THE FINE PRINTS. IF YOU CAN, USE THE PROMOS RIGHT AWAY. I HATE FOR SOMEONE TO NOT BE ABLE TO USE THEIR PROMO BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T AWARE ABOUT IT. SORRY FOR CAPSLOCK, BUT I DO CARE FOR PEOPLE TO SAVE MONEY ESPECIALLY A FELLOW SD'r.

Chat and phone reps told me that the Dell Advantage 5% program was not applicable to outlet refurbs, is that incorrect?

So...can you buy THIS twice, and use the $700 credit on this:
http://slickdeals.net/f/5996230-50-Sharp-Aquos-LC-50LE440U-1080p-LED-HDTV-300-Dell-eGift-Card-700-Free-Shipping?v=1

Effectively making the TV $300, and getting an extra Dell $300 eGift Card?

Can anyone answer this? i have the same question but on a 55 inch samsung

I just bought the 55 inch Samsung. There are a few catches though. They only let you use 3 options as payment, you have to get your eGift cards combined into one big gift card, they don't combine the promo gift cards into one big card and you have to buy over the phone or through chat to use more than one gift card
I bought 3 $300 gift cards and got $150 for free. I had to call them to get the 3 turned into a $900 gift card. I started a chat to check out and I was told I can only use 3 payment options, with each gift card counting as one. So I was only able to use the $900 and one of the $50 promo cards and a credit card for the remaining balance of $136.xx. It would be a better deal if they let you use as many cards as you would like. Im stuck with $100 from this deal and getting another $400 for buying the tv.
They asked me if I would like to enroll in the Dell Advantage program for an extra 5% back, which is nearly another $50 back, so I did.
In the end I paid $987 or so for the 55 inch Samsung and $500 in Dell promo cards that expire in 90 days. Its risky but worth it if you can find a way to spend or offload the promo cards.
I probably would have passed if I had known I wouldn't be able to burn all the promo cards from this deal during the purchase.

I did the same deal A month ago, for the same TV. In the end I spent $815.00 on gift cards for the TV and got $500.00 in promo cards total. I just bought XBox's to flip on Craigslist. I figure my TV. will cost me less than $500.00 in the end.

So my CC just got declined... but i think blessing in disguise as now I read about this deal.

To clarify:

Buy 4 difference $300 cards. You can then apply ONE promo card + the 4 COMBINED into one card as payment?

It depends on the price of the item you are buying. If you combine (4) $300 cards it makes one $1200 gift card, which counts as one payment option. You are then allowed 2 more options to pay, but the promo cards cannot be combined like the egift cards, which sucks. Each promo card is considered one payment option. If the item is $1149, for example, then 2 $50 promo gift cards cover the cost after tax, then you are good., but still stuck with the other 2 $50 promo cards.

If the item is $1249 for example, then tax will make the item cost more than the combined card and the 2 promo cards. Then you would have to use the combined card, only 1 promo card and the 3rd payment option would be a credit card to pay off the difference. You would then be stuck with 3 $50 promo cards.
Unless you are buying something that is around $299 or $599 before tax, you are going to be stuck with at least 1 promo card. If you are buying one of the TV's that comes with more promo cards, then you are going to be stuck with another promo card anyway.
Probably a good thing your card got declined. Gives you a chance to think again about it.

Thanks, but I was going to buy the laptop anyways for $1400 (M18x R2). So if I was going to buy it anyways, combining all 4 + using 1 promo code and then saving the 3 for whatever sale pops up?

Just an Idea.... I had a few $50.00 cards that I just bought Ps3/Xbox games with, and used Amazon's trade in program to get 80%(more or less) of their value in Amazon credit.

I think the promo is for eGift cards (processed by cashstar) not the plastic Dell Gift Cards. And it's delivered electronically, search your spam folder for cahstar or dell

Nope I order these in the past and they came in quickly in normal inbox. I guess they don't have the proper people working this early in the morning.

Anyone have any input as to how long it takes these to arrive to your email inbox?
