SnipSnap Coupon App: Love it or Hate it?
Here are a couple quotes from their FB page:
"We see a pretty high success rate (about 64%) at Victoria's Secret. Retailers always have the right to decline any coupon (print or mobile) at any time, whether due to terms and conditions or expiration dates."
"Some coupons, specifically Target coupons, are marked as single use coupons. We do tell our users to mark these coupons private when they upload them into the app"
"Coupons uploaded into the SnipSnap app are actual store coupons and redeeming them from your smart phone isn't coupon fraud. While most retailers require paper copies of manufacturer coupons to be reimbursed, many stores will accept store coupons off of mobile devices."
They avoid the the response about reimbursement and just simply call any "mobile" coupons store coupons which can include manufacturer coupons. I personally cannot stand this app and believe it will make future couponing for all of us harder if manufacturers now need to combat the upload and digital sharing of printed unique coupons.
Would love to hear what everyone else thinks.
