Great unit with great reviews. I really dig the design of the frame and the stand. I think I am going to wait for a little bit of a price drop on the 64" version.

Way better panel when compared to the $600 or $700 plasmas, read the reviews and about the brightness, it is the most bright plasma ever and brighter than many LCDs and epic black levels....

I dont know about that person but what would I call the person who buys 51" PLASMA by investing around $1600 in 2013???

I would say they were a person who desired far more than average and had a taste for finer things

this is a HECK of a price on this TV...one that will be probably be ranked 1 or 2 in 2013...for all TV's

Not sure if you saw the edit to the original post, but the 64 is also discounted to $2900 after coupon.

This isn't your "normal" plasma. It's truly revolutionary. You get the best of both plasma and led technologies i.e. led brightness combined with the inky blacks of a plasma.

Great price for this model of television but not a good price for television overall.
I suggest try this tv at bestbuy or frys. To me all the feature(gestures) are gimmick. Don't work that well.
But love the frame and stand. I prefer picture quality and affordability of Panasonic plasmas.

This isn't the same thing as a $400 budget model (even Samsung) that you can find at Walmart. See: http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-pane...31513.html

This is a high-end TV

Moving into my new place at the end of the month, wow this would be an awesome addition to my place. Comparatively speaking, how good of deal is this?

Also, anyone have luck with an Amazon price match?
Thanks all.
