Dell Outlet New =systems are PCs and enterprise products that were canceled orders, or systems that shipped out to a customer who decided to return the system without ever using it. Dell Outlet New systems do not have any cosmetic damages.
I'm not sure what games you're looking to play, but anything with intel hd 4000 graphics is horrible for games like SC2, COD, BF3. Sure it'll play them, but you'll see some lag and probably only run on medium settings if anything. For these games you'll need a dedicated graphics card. The only ultrabook that I've come across that will probably give you good results for these types of games is the Asus Ux51vz, but that one is not ~$600.
But this is still a great price for what you're getting.
It is a nice laptop. Not as good as the last one for $605 with the i7 and 8GB. On the past deal a call to CS was able to get the deal through being they have a little more visibility to locate one that you may not be seeing for the exact price that is needed for the code.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but if you click "Click here for available options and upgrades" it says that these are refurb
The new ones are mixed in the with refurb ones - you have to look. I believe the coupon is only for the New ones

doesn't really matter if they're really new or not. the other day they had a refurb for around $450ish for the same model, if i was looking for this laptop specifically, i woulda went for that $450 one knowing that it was a refurb.
you're right about the memory being soldered in but the SSD is replaceable being mSATA type as i saw in the Owner's Manual from Dell.
my company started deploying them but i haven't been able to verify this because i don't have the correct size torx screw driver to open the bottom cover. very small.
I do know it use mSATA SSD.
I am not sure about the memory.
memory no - mSATA SSD and wi-fi yes. you will need a T-5 screwdriver - do not use a different size, or you will strip the screw (trust me on this one!). and the screen is not so good - had to be at the perfect angle to look good...
