you can use an SD or micro SD slot as a quasi permanent addition to your drive size (e.g. adding a 64gb card to your 32gb tablet gives you 96gb of storage).
Huh... so that's how it works.

I seriously doubt that this laptop comes with a 32GB hard drive... this isn't 1992.

Will this play oblivion, Starcraft 2, or Dead space?

These deals have been posted since yesterday afternoon and now that they are featured here, they will be tougher to get.

I am looking for a new mid-range laptop. Are any of the other deals worth it? The previously new Inspiron 15z - 5523 looks like a pretty nice deal with the extra $50 off with the gift card bonus. It would be $339 + tax. Any thoughts?

I was giving an example...it comes with a 128 solid state drive...

They had the 15z with an i3 for $309+tax the previous sale. I ordered one, but have not recieved it yet. Seems like a nice laptop with backlit keyboard.

I was sad that I missed out on this new XPS 13, but happened to luck out and get a refurbished XPS 13 L322X with i7, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD and 1080p screen for $449.25+tax after the 25% off coupon, just hope it actually ships.

Yes, true! And it's also extra peripherals that you always have to carry with you and could easily get lost (cuz they're so small). If I wanted to play the dongle/peripherals game, I would've bought a Macbook Air.

I have the first generation version, and really like it. Keyboard is awesome, great build quality, and hardware balancing makes this laptop pretty freaking quick.
My only one takeaway is the screen quality; never mind that it's a 720p display(in itself is actually fine for this size), but viewing angles are pretty lousy, and color gamut is about par with cheaper laptops. It was only recently that Dell released a 1080p IPS paneled version(addressing the one glaring blemish to this line).
Still, this is a really good deal (insane if you took advantage of the AMEX/Dell credit last year) =)

That would make the regular price of $600. I have not seen the XPS 13 at that price ever

1080P on a 13" may be a bit overkill for some but I totally disagree about it being overkill on a 15".
It really is a personal preference. I personally don't care to stare at text that is 6 or 7pt.(on a 15 inch monitor). Some people watch movies and play games on their laptop and for that I totally understand wanting the 1080p. But I use mine for browsing and work sometimes and I prefer a lower resolution. Im thinking most people over 30-35 would agree. Smilie

Ive been monitoring those laptops for the past week and have never seen a XPS 13 L322X under 800 in the outlet. More to your story I think...

Anyone want to buy a 50$ promo code for dell? Looking to sell it for 40$. Bought a laptop from dell outlet last night, and customer service wasn't available. When I called this morning they told me I had to cancel my order and reorder the product. -_- which isn't available anymore. Dells customer service is a joke, why can't you just refund the amount if you just give them the code?

I recently purchased a L322x, the Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6235 and Bluetooth 3.0 that was included and it is so awful, I had so many wireless connection issues. If you're experiencing wireless connection issues you can request Dell to send you the Dell DW1901 wireless card to replace the current 6235.

Some of the reason why dell continue to use this card is to qualify for the "Ultrabook" label. In order to do so they need to use every component from Intel. Dell can offer a replacement card if you are experiencing any issue.
How exactly did you do this? Do you just call in and they send you one? or will they have to send a technician? I can do the swap myself, but I'm just worried about what it means for the warranty
